Klaus Schulze is a visionary. A dreamer. And known for making his visions and dreams come
true. For a long time, he wanted to enter into a collaboration with the gifted singer Lisa Gerrard.
He fulfilled this wish with the 2007 double album ‚Farscape‘. Schulze, whose immense oeuvre is
full of emotionally gripping works, has hardly ever been experienced in a more emotionally
gripping setting. Schulze is an institution, a living legend: He was a member of electronic pop
luminaries such as Tangerine Dream and Ash Ra Tempel, he has recorded an incalculable
number of solo records since 1972, he has created remixes for various and always interesting
bands, he has entered into various collaborations, always exciting, always innovative.
Gerrard, born in Melbourne, Australia, once a member of the original duo Dead Can Dance and
now responsible for soundtracks such as "Gladiator", "Ali" and "Whale Rider", has one of the
most unusual and expressive voices of modern times. "I've wanted to work with Lisa since her
Dead Can Dance days in the 80s, but it never happened," says Schulze. "We both have very
similar views on art! And we're both a bit strange. Lisa says, for example: "Music is a sanctuary."
I can understand this attitude very well. But make that clear to a normal person..."

On July 18, 2008, Klaus Schulze gave a unique magic concert at the Loreley open-air stage in
St. Goarshausen as part of 'Night Of The Prog III'. Schulze was joined by Australian singer Lisa
Gerrard, who enhanced the songs 'Loreley' and 'Wellgunde' with her unique vocals. The event
was recorded for Schulze's first official DVD release - this is the pure audio version on 2 CDs.
