When "In Blue" came out in 1995, many fans were of the opinion that it was the most "typical"
Schulze record in a long time. And they were right, of course, because Klaus had actually made
the tracks with the fans in mind, for whom the sounds on the previous album were too modern.
but "In Blue" was also a more traditional Schulze record in that Manuel Goettsching played on
"Return Of The Tempel". But that wasn't planned beforehand. Somehow Klaus came up with the
idea of calling Manuel and asking if he'd like to play again. Because Klaus always got on really
well with Manuel. Since their time together in "Ash Ra Tempel", the two had never lost sight of
each other.
