Quand le soleil se couche
As The Sun Falls est un groupe de metal finlandais dont le son a évolué au-delà des strictes frontières de genre. Issu des racines du death metal mélodique, le groupe incorpore de plus en plus des éléments de black metal et d'obscurité atmosphérique tout en conservant une solide base mélodique. Leur musique est définie par de vastes paysages sonores froids, des riffs entraînants, des voix dynamiques et une profondeur émotionnelle qui oscille entre agressivité et introspection.
Le groupe a sorti son premier album complet, Last Days of Light en 2021, suivi de Kaamos en 2024, affinant davantage leur son immersif et sombre. Leur prochain album, Songs from the Veil, est prévu pour le 22 mai 2026.
Plutôt que de s'intégrer parfaitement dans une seule catégorie, As The Sun Falls crée un metal axé sur l'ambiance où mélodie et obscurité existent en parfait équilibre.
