As The Sun Falls is a Finnish metal band whose sound has evolved beyond strict genre boundaries. Emerging from melodic death metal roots, the band increasingly incorporates elements of black metal and atmospheric darkness while maintaining a strong melodic foundation. Their music is defined by vast, cold soundscapes, driving riffs, dynamic vocals, and emotional depth that shifts between aggression and introspection.
The band released their debut full-length, Last Days of Light in 2021, followed by Kaamos in 2024, further refining their immersive and shadowed sound. Their upcoming album, Songs from the Veil , is set for release on May 22, 2026.
